    Climate Change

With a deep passion for sustainability and a Legally Green® mindset, we help our clients navigate ever-changing regulations and policies, stay ahead of global trends, and achieve their goals related to Environmental Social Governance (ESG).

    Overview

Climate change is one of the most challenging issues of our time. It affects real estate, water supplies and quality, agriculture, infrastructure and transportation systems, the natural environment, and our health and safety.

Now more than ever, businesses across all industries are required to analyze how climate change will affect their portfolios—from capital expenditures and fluctuating prices for goods and services, to operational risks, marketing and legal obligations.

Thinking creatively, we anticipate and address all climate change–related issues that our clients may face, including adaptation, resiliency, sea level rise, and water adequacy concerns. We help mitigate risks and overcome obstacles by strategically guiding clients through the complex patchwork of regional, state, and local regulation of greenhouse gases.

As the world redoubles its efforts to combat climate change, our clients are increasingly looking to emerging technologies like carbon capture and clean hydrogen to reduce emissions in the most challenging sectors to decarbonize.
