Introduction
Jennifer advises her clients in all aspects of the real estate transaction structure. She represents purchasers and sellers, landlords and tenants, borrowers and lenders, and commercial developers.
My focus
As a real estate attorney, I focus my practice in the area of acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing of commercial real property. I have experience representing real estate investment trusts with regard to all matters involving the real estate transaction structure, including complex acquisitions often involving large portfolios of properties; structuring and negotiating sale-leaseback transactions involving retail, office, industrial, and medical properties; due diligence, including review and analysis of environmental, zoning, and property condition issues; dispositions; and financing.
Looking ahead
The pandemic has significantly impacted the use of real estate and the risk calculation of businesses operating in brick and mortar locations. Savvy landlords and tenants are taking lessons learned from the pandemic into account in structuring and negotiating real estate transactions.
