    /My focus

    COMPLEX COMMERCIAL DISPUTES

I represent clients in a wide range of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, fraud, fiduciary duty claims, trade secret misappropriation, restrictive covenants, and products liability claims. I also advise and counsel clients on disputes pre-litigation and represent clients in arbitrations and mediations. My clients include Fortune 500 companies, business owners, officers, and investors in various industries.

    LABOR & EMPLOYMENT LITIGATION

I have also defended companies in a variety of labor and employment cases filed in state and federal courts, the Illinois Human Rights Commission (IHRC), and the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR).

Specifically, I have experience defending lawsuits involving claims of age, sex, gender, and disability discrimination; constructive and wrongful discharge; wage-and-hour; and claims regarding the Family & Medical Leave Act (FMLA).

    PROBATE & ESTATE LITIGATION

I have also represented institutions and individuals in various guardianship related matters and have successfully obtained temporary and plenary guardianship appointments in over a dozen matters.

    Law Firm Responsibility

Another part of my practice involves counseling lawyers and law firms regarding fiduciary and ethical obligations, departure related issues, and partnership disputes.

    /Looking ahead

As technology continues to evolve, I am paying particular attention to how we can best leverage AI to efficiently and effectively complement our representation of clients.
