Chief Compliance Officer, Wealth Management and Nixon Peabody Trust Company
Brian O’Keeffe is the chief compliance officer for Nixon Peabody’s Wealth Management practice and Nixon Peabody Trust Company.
With more than 20 years of experience in banking and financial services, I lead the compliance efforts for Nixon Peabody Trust Company. In addition, I work with the rest of our team to enhance the capabilities and infrastructure of the Trust Company as we meet the evolving needs of attorneys in our Wealth Management practice and their clients.
With anticipated additional legal and regulatory requirements for financial institutions and wealth managers, along with an evolving set of risks, trust and integrity are paramount in any wealth management relationship. Compliance plays an integral role in supporting that. It is important now and in the future that the compliance function supports the expected growth, manages the risks of the clients and the business, and helps Nixon Peabody Trust Company continue on its growth path.
