    My focus

    Multifamily Housing

I assist owners and developers with the acquisition, disposition, and financing of multifamily properties, including developments financed with low-income housing tax credits and historic tax credits. I recently helped a client acquire and finance a 346-unit affordable housing development in Springfield, Massachusetts. I work on many refinancings of affordable housing projects, in particular, those funded through the Federal Housing Administration (FHA) 223(f) program. Additionally, in the multifamily sector, I handle the disposition of limited partner interests in affordable housing projects, including negotiating purchase and sale agreements for such dispositions.

    Seniors Housing and Care

I have assisted institutional investors with their investments in assisted living and skilled nursing properties and portfolios and also represented developers and owners acquiring and selling assisted living and skilled nursing developments.

    General Real Estate

I work with clients on various other general real estate matters, including purchase and sale agreements and real estate joint ventures.

    Looking ahead

As the Commonwealth of Massachusetts continues to recover from the COVID-19 pandemic, there is a continuing need for more affordable housing to provide stable housing for families in the Commonwealth. The Massachusetts governor is committed to supporting more affordable housing developments. I look forward to working with the developers on these important projects.
