Andrew has been with Nixon Peabody since 1987 and most recently served as CEO and managing partner of the firm for the past decade. He currently serves as senior chairman and partner.
An active leader, Andrew focuses on client relationships, diversity, mentoring and developing attorneys, board service, and engaging in philanthropic efforts. Andrew's law practice focuses on business and real estate and he is a community leader with decades of legal, business, and management experience. He is often quoted or featured in the Wall Street Journal, New York Times, Boston Globe, and others, and has an active social media presence.
Andrew strongly believes in giving back to the community where he works and lives, and he focuses his efforts on education, affordable housing, youth, and seniors. While CEO, he created a summer mentorship program with Brockton High School (his alma mater). Andrew has been a volunteer for more than three decades at Hebrew Senior Life, which provides medical and housing services for the elderly, serving in numerous roles including as chairman of the board. He also taught real estate finance in the Carroll School of Management at Boston College for more than two decades.

I’ve had great success developing client strategies for acquiring, managing and selling assets from $5M to billions of dollars. My ability to think creatively about complex situations has contributed to the success of numerous businesses including professional services firms and every kind of real estate asset class from retail centers to hotels and offices to multifamily developments, including seniors living and low-income housing on both a local and national scale.
