Marissa Muscarella is an associate with Nixon Peabody’s Complex Commercial Disputes practice group. She represents public and private companies in a wide variety of state and federal litigation matters.
I represent clients from a diverse range of industries (including the financial, healthcare, and real estate industries) in a variety of civil litigation matters. My practice includes defending and prosecuting cases involving matters such as breaches of contract, fiduciary duties, and restrictive covenants as well as corporate governance disputes.
I am also a member of the firm’s Financial Institutions & Banking Disputes Team, which represents financial institutions and individuals in a full range of civil litigation, enforcement matters, and compliance investigations.
I am following developments of issues rising from the new, growing short-term rental industry and the potential conflicts for landlords, property owners. and real estate brokerage companies resulting from the interplay between short-term rental contracts and real estate law and regulations.
