David Pattee is a litigator who represents businesses and individuals in a variety of state and federal commercial disputes.
My practice focuses on products liability, trade secrets and business torts and other complex commercial disputes.
I have represented clients from a diverse range of industries in a variety of commercial litigation matters, from breach of contract and business tort actions, to professional liability claims and intellectual property litigation. I have been involved in every phase of business litigation, including advising clients in the resolution of claims at the pre-litigation stage, drafting pleadings and motions, conducting and responding to complex discovery and preparing cases for trial.
I work closely with clients to implement defense strategies and have favorably resolved a number of toxic tort actions in jurisdictions throughout the United States. I also defend products liability claims involving medical devices and other products on behalf of manufacturers, distributors and retailers.
I expect the necessity of e-Discovery to pose increasingly complex challenges in all manners of litigation. Clients will need to remain informed on e-Discovery practices and technologies in order to manage costs and make the sometimes burdensome discovery process work in their favor.
