Sara Tennen, DC Volunteer Lawyers Project

Rebecca Simon is joined by Sara Tennen, Executive Director of the DC Volunteer Lawyers Project (DCVLP) as part of NP Impact’s Women Making History series. The DC Volunteer Lawyers Project provides comprehensive legal services to victims of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking, sexual assault, and other forms of gender-based violence, and to vulnerable children living in dangerous situations. Each year, DCVLP helps over 2,100 clients escape violence and move toward safety & stability. During the conversation, Sara discusses the resiliency of DCVLP’s clients and how attorneys can get involved in the pro bono space.
