The Adams Street Foundation (ASF) provides invaluable services to The Urban Assembly School for Law and Justice (SLJ), which is part of a network of 22 public schools throughout New York City dedicated to empowering underserved youth by equipping them with the academic and life skills necessary for college and career success. ASF connects these students—many of whom will be the first in their family to go to college— with professional opportunities across the legal industry and beyond.
During our Week of Service, members of Nixon Peabody’s New York City office assisted SLJ students in editing their college application essays. We’re proud to support ASF, and we look forward to building on this community partnership in the months to come.
