Introduction
Nahal Adler represents real estate owners, developers, lenders, and investors in a broad range of sophisticated commercial and affordable housing real estate transactions, as well as general corporate and real estate matters.
My focus
My practice focuses on assisting clients with various aspects of real estate transactions. This includes the acquisition, development, and financing of affordable housing projects, complex commercial developments, and mixed-use developments; counseling both landlords and tenants on commercial real estate leases, ground leases, and lease modifications; and conducting property due diligence reviews. I also bring significant experience in tax credit financing transactions. Additionally, I advise clients on general corporate and compliance matters and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements.
Prior to joining Nixon Peabody, I worked as in-house real estate counsel, negotiating office, retail, and industrial leases, and advising on real estate acqusitions. At a separate company, I served as in-house counsel, managing legal and compliance matters related to site development, operations, and procurement. I leverage my in-house experience to provide practical, business-minded legal advice and collaborate with clients to support strategic and informed decisions.
