I am a recent former judicial law clerk for the Honorable Rachel E. Hershfang of the Massachusetts Appeals Court.
The federal government continues to prioritize enforcement in white collar fraud. Companies should ensure that they have effective compliance programs in place to proactively identify and investigate potential misconduct. Companies should regularly update their compliance programs to be consistent with evolving policies and industry practices and should be prepared to respond to increased scrutiny from state and federal governments.
