/My focus

I help investors and developers utilize federal tax incentives to promote development in underserved markets. I work primarily with the federal new markets tax credit (NMTC) and low- income housing tax credit (LIHTC).

I previously worked for a corporation where I assisted in the revitalization efforts of a national award-winning affordable housing developer in several of the country’s most distressed neighborhoods. In addition, I have assisted in the review and compilation of HUD evidentiaries, as well as LIHTC, Federal Home Loan Bank (FHLB), Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and HOPE IV applications and documents.

More and more projects are combining as many sources of public and private financing as possible in order to maximize the benefit that NMTCs provide. We help our clients sync the various statutory, business, and legal requirements that must work together for the underlying project.
