Introduction
Joy Baskin represents a range of clients, including developers and real estate professionals, in connection with all aspects of condominium and cooperative law.
My focus
I represent New York City developers, sponsors, and institutional lenders on high-value residential and mixed-use transactions. With more than two decades of experience, my practice includes advising on cooperative and condominium governance, preparing amendments to plans and declarations, preparation and submission of No-Action letter applications, reviewing and revising plans, and handling complex purchase, sale, and financing matters.
Looking ahead
I expect the NYC condominium and cooperative market to benefit from gradually improving buyer demand as mortgage rates ease and inventory remains constrained, supporting both pricing and overall transaction activity.
