/My focus

I am an experienced litigator with both first and second chair experience in state and federal courts. I handle matters related to breach of contract, unfair competition, fraud, corporate governance disputes, breach of fiduciary duty, and other business torts. My experience allows me to navigate the litigation process, from initial case evaluations and dispositive motions, to discovery, and through trial and appeals. My approach to litigation focuses on the substantive issues while minimizing the “noise” that often arises in complex disputes. I aim to resolve disputes efficiently by limiting cases to the most salient issues.

I am a former law clerk to the Honorable Stephen R. McCullough on the Supreme Court of Virginia. This experience not only allows me to assist clients in appellate litigation but also gives me a helpful perspective at the trial level. My prior experience also includes serving in private practice at two other firms, focusing on commercial litigation and representing clients in federal and state court proceedings as well as before the D.C. Alcoholic Beverage and Cannabis Administration and the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings.
