Introduction
Brian Fitzpatrick focuses his practice primarily on low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs) and renewable energy investment funds. He also handles U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and state regulatory agency securities law compliance matters.
My focus
LIHTC and Energy Funds
I help prepare and review offering and subscription materials for investment funds and manage day-to-day due diligence review, documentation preparation, and closing and post-closing processes for these funds. I work closely with all parties in these transactions to ensure the deal gets closed in a thorough fashion, as quickly and efficiently as possible.
Securities Compliance
The other area I focus on supports the firm’s various business and finance groups. I provide research and filing preparation services for SEC, state, and other securities regulatory compliance.
Looking ahead
I closely follow regulatory, financing, and technology developments in the energy industry, which I see as the next area of major economic boom in the U.S.
