    My focus

I focus my practice on trademark protection and enforcement. I routinely advise clients on the selection, clearance, registration and enforcement of their trademarks. I also help clients resolve their trademark disputes, including experience handling actions in federal court as well as proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. I regularly assist clients with transactional matters as well, such as drafting licensing and coexistence agreements. Additionally, I advise clients on copyright matters and e-commerce protection. Specifically, I have experience on IP-related e-commerce activities such as domain name use, website privacy policies, website terms and conditions of use and social media. I strive to provide clients with valuable solutions and a comprehensive approach to IP protection.

    Looking ahead

As businesses continue to adapt and change with the growing global economy, intellectual property protection is more important than ever before. The need to develop and implement broad strategies regarding trademark selection, use and enforcement is vital to a company’s ability to thrive in the digital marketplace. Businesses need to continue to be proactive in protecting their intellectual property as the ability for infringement continues to grow.
