Introduction
Samantha Habel, an associate in the Community Development Finance group, represents clients nationwide on real estate matters related to community development projects using low-income housing tax credits (LIHTCs).
My focus
I focus my practice on real estate and financing transactions for large or small-scale projects involving LIHTCs. I represent equity investors, syndicators, and lenders on financing and housing projects. I work with clients to draft documents, review project financing, and conduct due diligence to ensure their transactions close smoothly.
Looking ahead
As housing costs and the need for affordable housing rise, I look forward to working with our clients to continue prioritizing affordable housing in their communities and navigating the low-income housing tax credit industry.
