Ninteretse Jean Pierre (JP) is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Affordable Housing and Real Estate group, where his practice encompasses all aspects of commercial real estate transactions and design and construction.
JP’s legal experience includes working for the U.S. District Court, Western District of New York.
My practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions. I represent borrowers and lenders, real estate developers and companies and property owners. I assist clients in structuring and negotiating a variety of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, title and survey review, and negotiation of other real estate instruments. I also have experience in negotiating and drafting design and construction contracts and have recently negotiated and drafted design and construction agreements for multi-use buildings, hospitals, restaurants, and office buildings.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, I expect to see a shift in design of work spaces to focus on more adaptable spaces that can be repurposed on a short notice and at a lower cost.
