Introduction

My focus
I focus my practice on real estate transactions involving federal Low-Income Tax Credits, state tax credits, solar credits, and other associated tax credits. I represent equity investors and syndicators in these transactions, helping clients prepare and negotiate equity documents, review project financing structures, conduct the due diligence required to facilitate efficient and successful closings, and issue tax opinions. I have also assisted clients with respect to their syndication and exit strategies.
Looking ahead
In addition to market pressures that face every industry, I am most interested in helping clients resolve financing and equity pricing issues in a manner that benefits not only our clients, but the industry at large, which will bring much-needed affordable housing units to the market. Recent tax and housing legislation should help propel the affordable housing space to new heights.
