Introduction
My focus
I advise clients on all aspects of intellectual property disputes. I represent both plaintiffs and defendants in patent litigation matters in federal court with experience across a variety of technologies including drone technology, software, and consumer products. My practice also includes representing clients in post grant proceedings before the USPTO.
I leverage my background in structural, geotechnical, and environmental engineering to grasp a wide range of complex technologies and craft creative legal and technical strategies to obtain the most favorable outcomes for my clients.
I also advise clients in trade secret, trademark, and copyright matters as well as domain name disputes.
While in law school, I was a judicial extern for Judge Josephine L. Staton in the US District Court for the Central District of California.
Looking ahead
Patent subject matter eligibility challenges under 35 U.S.C. § 101 remain popular in light of constantly developing case law. It is critical to stay apprised of the many nuances and their applicability to the technology at issue, and adapt legal strategies accordingly.
