/My focus

My practice focuses on high-stakes commercial litigation. I advise clients in pre-trial negotiations, draft efficient and effective pleadings and motions, and, when necessary, prepare cases for trial. I also have extensive experience assisting clients with alternative dispute resolutions, such as mediation and arbitration.

In addition to my litigation practice, I also have a robust pro bono practice, which includes defending against evictions throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, assisting formerly incarcerated persons with sealing records so they can obtain college educations and access housing and helping undocumented minors seek asylum and special immigrant juvenile status.

While in law school, I worked as a judicial intern to the Honorable William P. Robinson III, Rhode Island Supreme Court; the Honorable O. Rogeriee Thompson, US Court of Appeals for the First Circuit; and the Honorable William E. Smith, US District Court for the District of Rhode Island.

Artificial intelligence is the latest craze, but with it comes serious security and privacy risks for new and legacy companies alike. I follow developments in this area, paying specific attention to how AI can help us better serve our clients and how our clients can mitigate the risks associated with its use.
