Lindsey Schmidt represents homeowner associations (HOAs), property owners, landlords, and developers.
I handle HOA matters, co-ownership and tenancy-in-common (TIC) disputes, partition actions, nondisclosure claims and purchase/sale matters, and contractor disputes.
During law school, I was a law clerk in the U.S. Attorney’s Office of the Northern District of California, Asset Forfeiture Unit, and a legal extern at Indiana Legal Services. I served as managing articles editor of the Notre Dame Journal of Legislation, in which I published an article on noncompete employment agreements in California. I also wrote appellate briefs for the law school’s Moot Court team.
