Introduction
Max Salis assists with all aspects of commercial and private real estate transactions, including drafting documents, managing due diligence, and preparing material for closings.
My focus
My primary focus is on real estate transactions. I manage and facilitate all stages of a deal, including monitoring critical dates, drafting transactional documents, and organizing due diligence materials and title curatives. My work involves detailed review of title and survey, as well as coordinating any required clearance items.
I assist with all aspects of the transaction lifecycle, such as due diligence review (e.g., preliminary zoning, title, and survey review), preparing closing documentation (including checklists, critical date timelines, escrow agreements, transactional documents, releases, and closing statements), and overseeing the closing process through post‑closing matters.
Looking ahead
I believe artificial intelligence will play a much larger role in the delivery of paralegal services in the next 12 months. In addition to assisting with legal research, we are seeing applications related to document drafting, analyzing large volumes of data, and refining both internal and external communications. All of these refinements should lead to increased efficiencies in service delivery that ultimately will benefit the clients I work with.
