Currently my practice is focused on assisting telecommunications providers in securing property or tower rights including leases. I have also represented both landlords and tenants in commercial leases.
I have represented commercial real estate clients on purchase and sale transactions and financings.
I previously served as vice president and assistant counsel for Home Properties, a publicly traded real estate investment trust. In this role, I represented the company in all of its purchase, sale, and financing transactions. This included structuring transactions, drafting and negotiating contracts, negotiating loan documents, and closing transactions. I also gained extensive experience with tax-deferred transactions, including 1031 exchanges and contributions to UPREITS. I also prepared residential leases and addenda in multiple states, researched landlord tenant laws in multiple states, and otherwise provided legal assistance to property management.
Being able to work remotely has never been more important. Our work in the telecommunications field helps ensure that everyone stays connected.
