Boston, MA. Nixon Peabody LLP has expanded the firm’s Cybersecurity & Privacy team with the addition of partner Jacqueline “Jackie” Cooney, who has more than 30 years of experience in privacy, governance, risk, compliance, and public policy matters.
Jackie has worked with clients globally to provide guidance on privacy and cybersecurity program development, data protection strategies, breach response protocols, and artificial intelligence (AI) governance and compliance strategies. Based in Nixon Peabody’s Boston office, she also provides counsel regarding cross-border data transfers, data protection contracts, and the development of compliant privacy and cybersecurity policies and documentation. Jackie has worked with clients across a wide range of industry sectors—including life sciences, financial services, fintech, e-commerce, retail, entertainment, and private equity.
