George N. Dandalides

George focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign patent applications.

What do you focus on?

I help clients protect their intellectual property by providing strategic advice and building strong patent portfolios. I have drafted patent applications for a broad range of clients in the areas of computer technology, telecommunications, and other high-tech industries.

Leveraged by my physics and computer programming background, my experience extends across a wide range of areas, including electronics, augmented and virtual reality, semiconductors, integrated circuits, e-commerce, data systems and algorithms, autonomous vehicles, irrigation systems, radiation detection systems, optics, thermodynamics, computer hardware and software, computer networking, cellular communications, gaming technologies, and haptic devices.

What do you see on the horizon?

I’m constantly watching the development of patentable subject matter under 35 U.S.C. § 101. I consider new developments in case law, as well as guidance provided by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), to guide not only prosecution strategy but also my claim drafting strategy to anticipate any future hurdles that may occur during patent prosecution.
