What do you focus on?

Swap Transactions

I have extensive experience in drafting and negotiating ISDA Master Agreements and related Credit Support Documentation and Confirmations of transactions involving interest rate and commodity swaps. Additionally, I have advised clients with respect to the applicable requirements of the Dodd-Frank Act, including drafting internal policies and procedures and working with clients to complete ISDA Protocol documentation and bilateral contracts with swap counterparties.

Bond Counsel

I have significant experience in:

  1. Drafting and negotiating bond documentation for clients relating to fixed rate and floating rate new money and refunding transactions.
  2. Reviewing and negotiating liquidity/credit agreements for variable rate bond issues and for revolving credit agreements providing for working capital and other non-bond related needs.

What do you see on the horizon?

Federal regulations on swap transactions became increasingly complex with the passage and implementation of the Dodd-Frank Act. As the rules implementing the Dodd-Frank Act are put in place, I continue to ensure that my clients are kept informed of the implications for them. I have been actively involved and expect to have continued involvement with webinars and conferences by industry organizations such as NABL and through participating in webinars utilizing the extensive capabilities of Nixon Peabody.
