Babatomiwa (Tomi) Akinyemi
Associate
Introduction
My focus
In my practice, I advise borrowers, lenders, and developers on a variety of matters including, real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and due diligence, as well as leasing of industrial, commercial, multifamily, and mixed-use properties. My work includes drafting, reviewing, and negotiating various contracts and conducting the necessary due diligence to ensure transactions run smoothly and efficiently while meeting client expectations.
Looking ahead
I see an increasing appetite for public-private partnerships in the real estate space that take into account the importance of creating job opportunities and fostering sustainable revitalization of underserved communities. I look forward to partnering with local stakeholders taking an active role in this mission while simultaneously promoting the underlying goals of dedicated project investors.
