Victoria represents clients in a wide variety of sophisticated, affordable housing and real estate transactions.
My practice focuses on various aspects of affordable housing and real estate development, including acquisition, disposition, leasing, property diligence review, real estate joint ventures, land use, and zoning matters. I work with developers, for-profits, and nonprofits on regulatory and transactional matters involving multifamily housing ownership, preservation, development, and rehabilitation.
Affordable housing continues to evolve due to congressional action, particularly additions to the Multifamily Assisted Housing Reform and Affordability Act of 1997 (MAHRAA). Under the new legislation, Section 514 of MAHRAA, owners have a new pathway to assistance.
