Sam Goldblatt is a trial lawyer with more than 35 years of courtroom experience in commercial and personal injury cases around the country.
My practice focuses on advocacy, advice and cost recovery for clients seeking solutions for problems arising from commercial and consumer use and handling of products, including product liability, toxic tort, civil conspiracy and breach of warranty claims, cases and disputes among businesses, individuals and governmental agencies. My current work is for several manufacturers of compressed gas valves and tanks. My past body of work has involved a variety of products from fuel tanks and other parts of heavy and medium duty trucks to chemicals, toys and children’s products.
Continued threats to our civil justice system, particularly the use of jury trials, due in part to rote reliance on protracted and unnecessary discovery proceedings, resulting in long delays in bringing cases to trial. Effective advocacy in today’s environment requires knowing what evidence is necessary and sufficient and what strategy is best designed to bring cases to resolution quickly while persuading jurors, judges, mediators and arbitrators that the client is on the right side of the issue—that knowledge only comes from real world experience.
Sam has published more than two dozen articles in various bar association and other journals, including a handbook on the regulations of the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission and presented on various trial-related topics at legal industry conferences.
