My focus
My practice centers on domestic and international patent prosecution across diverse industries and technologies. I counsel clients on US and global patent strategy, conduct prior art searches and due diligence investigations, and provide patentability opinions to support informed decision-making throughout the patent lifecycle.
My technical experience covers payment technologies, cryptography, blockchain, e-commerce technology, medical devices and procedures, machine learning and artificial intelligence, computer hardware and software, lighting technology, and automotive technologies. My electrical engineering background allows me to engage deeply with complex subject matter, whether navigating intricate prosecution histories or advising on multi-jurisdictional patent portfolios.
Looking ahead
The rapid evolution of AI and its integration across industries is reshaping the patent landscape in real time—from questions of AI-assisted inventorship to shifting USPTO guidance on eligibility. I am closely monitoring these developments to help clients protect their innovations and build portfolios designed for long-term resilience.
