Introduction
Admitted to practice only in Nebraska. Supervised by a member of the firm who is a member of the D.C. Bar.
My focus
In my practice, I represent investors, lenders (including CDEs and CDFIs), project sponsors, and borrowers through capital raising, closing, funding, and ongoing compliance of the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC) program.
Looking ahead
I anticipate greater permanence of the New Markets Tax Credit (NMTC), spurring increased investments in low-income communities and enhancing resources and transactional efficiencies between investors and community development lenders. In turn, more private capital will flow into low-income communities and struggling local economies will have the opportunity to be reinvigorated.
