Alvin So is an experienced solicitor and investment adviser in Hong Kong focusing on IPOs, M&As, corporate finance, regulatory compliance and direct investment transactions.
My focus
Apart from being a legal practitioner, I have had the experience of setting up and managing successful financial businesses. Accordingly, I can better understand clients’ concerns and can more readily find solutions for mutual benefits.
Representative experience
Up to 2018, Alvin has advised on over 100 IPOs and different forms of capital-raising exercises, and numerous M&A transactions and investment advisory projects for sophisticated investors, listed companies, private equity investments, and hedge fund investments. Alvin also has extensive experience in the sale and purchase of securities and fund management companies.
Looking ahead
With her legal system, freedom of capital flow and international experience, Hong Kong can continue her role as a major global financial hub. Recently, I represented clients in negotiations in London, Singapore and Abu Dhabi and I will expect to continue to provide clients with professional and practical advice in international service from a Hong Kong law perspective.
