Introduction
Allison Strong helps entities and individuals protect and enforce their most valuable intellectual property. Her background in chemical engineering brings real world knowledge to complex patent disputes.
My focus
I work with companies across technology-intensive industries at every stage of litigation, including conducting in-depth legal research, drafting motions, resolving discovery disputes, and preparing for and arguing at hearings. Additionally, I advise clients on patent and trademark prosecution, including drafting applications and developing intellectual property portfolios.
Representative experience
- Defend a manufacturer of data center cooling equipment against claims of infringement asserted against the manufacturer’s customers.
- Represent a patent owner in a patent enforcement campaign to protect its rights against several entities in the semiconductor chip industry.
- Enforce the patent rights of a secure payment transactions company in the U.S. and abroad.
- Manage a portfolio of international trademarks for a leading cryptocurrency platform.
Looking ahead
Fostering productive working relationships with counsel for opposing parties, aligned parties, and third parties is an underrated strategic aspect of patent litigation practice. Sophisticated patent litigators must be intentional in how they interact and collaborate with other counsel to efficiently and effectively achieve their client’s goals.
