Introduction
Alexa Torrens is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Complex Disputes group. She represents entities and individuals in a wide variety of commercial disputes and litigation.
My focus
My practice focuses on a variety of complex litigation matters, including contract and real estate disputes, employment matters, and class actions. I represent clients in various phases of disputes, ranging from engaging in pre-litigation risk assessment, drafting memoranda for dispositive and pre-hearing motions, to discovery and preparation for trial or arbitration.
Looking ahead
I am following developments in how AI Large Language Models (LLMs) are advancing the legal toolkit of pro se plaintiffs in consumer protection lawsuits against businesses, and how companies can best defend against these actions.
