I focus on mergers and acquisitions, investment funds and financial regulations. I also have substantial exposure to IPOs, corporate finance and HKEX Listing Rules compliance. Prior to joining Nixon Peabody CWL, I worked as senior legal counsel in a large corporation whose group was listed in the U.S., mainland China and Hong Kong.

/Looking ahead

I see a tightening trend in financial regulations on a global scale. In the case of cross-border deals, lawyers practising in different countries work together to ensure the deal structure and the resultant entity meet stringent legal and compliance requirements while maintaining the overall commercial value.
