Rochester, NY. Nixon Peabody LLP continues the expansion of its Corporate practice with the addition of counsel Jason Reis, an experienced transactional attorney who also has a deep in-house legal background.
Jason’s extensive transactional work focuses on mergers and acquisitions, private placements, and a wide range of capital market transactions, including private equity, venture capital and angel investments, mezzanine investments, senior bank debt, joint ventures, technology licensing, due diligence, and risk assessment. He advises investors, boards, executives, and business stakeholders in legal and business matters across the software, cybersecurity and data privacy, digital marketing, manufacturing, government contracting, financial services, biotech, and healthcare industries.

Based in Nixon Peabody’s Rochester, New York, office, Jason also has experience advising stakeholders and implementing policies related to global data privacy and security compliance matters.
