Rochester, NY. Nixon Peabody LLP partner Jenny Holmes has been named to the Rochester Business Journal’s 2026 “Forty Under 40” list, recognizing the region’s leaders under 40 years of age who have made positive impacts through their professional accomplishments and community service.
The 2026 “Forty Under 40” honorees were selected by a panel of judges, consisting of prior-year honorees from different professions. The recognized individuals continue to achieve success in their careers while also giving back in meaningful ways to the Rochester community.
Based in Nixon Peabody’s Rochester office, Jenny serves as deputy leader of both the firm’s Privacy & Technology practice and the broader Cybersecurity & Privacy team. As a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US), Jenny advises clients on the ever-changing legal landscape of data privacy and cybersecurity law. She also co-hosts Nixon Peabody’s popular A Little Privacy, Please!® video series.
Jenny’s legal practice focuses on privacy compliance, data breach response, and transactional analysis as part of mergers and acquisitions. More specifically, she develops and implements system-wide privacy and security plans and creates response plans that address the mandates of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and the NY SHIELD Act, among others.
