Vince assists clients with IP litigation, patent prosecution, trademark registration, portfolio management, and freedom-to-operate analyses. He approaches every matter with the same focus—to help clients achieve their business objectives. Vince draws on his doctorate-level education and litigation experience to develop and execute legal strategies involving software, computer, biotech, and pharmaceutical technologies. He is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, and is supervised by attorneys admitted to practice in California.
My practice is dedicated to helping both life sciences and high tech clients create and implement IP strategies. Leveraging my life sciences background and legal experience in high tech patent litigation matters, I advise and counsel clients on a full range of IP issues, including bet-the-company patent litigation, international patent enforcement, global IP portfolio development, patent prosecution, trademark registration and trademark litigation. Representative technologies in my practice include software, telecom, GPS, semiconductor, computer, biotech, pharmaceutical and mechanical arts.
As globalization makes the world smaller, I foresee new actors, such as research universities and start-ups, globally enforcing intellectual property rights across jurisdictions. This requires counseling, litigation, portfolio building and licensing on the worldwide stage to ensure global freedom-to-operate and to enforce multijurisdictional IP rights.
