Introduction
George Dandalides focuses his practice on preparing and prosecuting both U.S. and foreign patent applications.
My focus
I help clients protect their intellectual property by providing strategic advice and building strong patent portfolios. I have drafted patent applications for clients across a broad range of industries, from high-tech areas like computer technology and telecommunications, to life science and medical devices.
Leveraged by my physics and computer programming background, my experience extends across a wide range of areas, including electronics, augmented and virtual reality, semiconductors, integrated circuits, e-commerce, data systems and algorithms, autonomous vehicles, irrigation systems, radiation detection systems, optics, thermodynamics, computer hardware and software, computer networking, cellular communications, medical devices, decorator systems, dental implants and orthodontic devices, gaming technologies, and haptic devices.
Looking ahead
I’m constantly watching the development of patentable subject matter under 35 USC §101. I consider new developments in case law, as well as guidance provided by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), to guide not only prosecution strategy but also my claim drafting strategy to anticipate any future hurdles that may occur during patent prosecution.
