My focus
Corporate and Commercial Practice in Hong Kong
I advise clients on a broad range of corporate transactions in Hong Kong and mainland China, including cross-border mergers and acquisitions, sales and purchases of shares/businesses and assets, joint ventures and shareholders’ agreements and pre-IPO and other corporate restructurings. In particular, I often advise clients in structuring complicated transactions that have Hong Kong and mainland China elements.
Corporate and Commercial Practice in mainland China
While I represent Hong Kong and foreign clients with the establishment of, and ongoing business operations and divestments in, Hong Kong and mainland China, with the acceleration of the mainland China’s strategy “Go Out Policy,” I also assist clients in mainland China with their investments and businesses in Hong Kong and foreign countries through brand new establishments, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures or otherwise.
Looking ahead
I see there have been and will be more interactions between Hong Kong and mainland China. Lawyers well-versed in both jurisdictions will face a lot of opportunities and challenges.
