My practice centers on all areas of patent law, with a particular emphasis on patent infringement. I represent clients in patent infringement cases before US federal courts, Section 337 investigations before the US International Trade Commission, and inter partes review (IPR) proceedings before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board (PTAB). I have a broad technical background, which I use to represent plaintiffs and defendants in patent disputes involving a wide range of technologies, including electronics, communications, computers and software, mechanical apparatuses, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and medical devices.
My practice also encompasses patent preparation and prosecution, counseling, opinion work, and due diligence investigations. I work with clients to identify and protect their inventions and navigate complex patent-related issues.
IP such as patents will increasingly be a client’s most valuable and critical asset. Patent disputes will continue to be significant and potentially rewarding and costly events, and the law (e.g., § 101 standard) and technologies (e.g., generative AI) in patent disputes will continue to evolve.
