Introduction
Jared Joyce is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Corporate Transactions practice group. Jared works with clients at every stage of their business lifecycle, with a focus on the acquisition and disposition of stock and/or assets for public and private companies.
My focus
Corporate Transactions
I counsel public and private companies in a variety of industries in connection with corporate transactions such as mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions. I focus on strategically drafting deal documents in a manner which maximizes the benefit to our clients while limiting their exposure to various risk factors identified through due diligence.
General Corporate
I counsel public and private companies on a variety of matters including entity formation and dissolution, commercial contracts, and corporate governance.
Looking ahead
We expect the M&A market to continue to demonstrate resilience and adaptability, with dealmakers continuing to pursue strategic opportunities that drive growth, enhance competitive positioning, and create long-term value for stakeholders. Interest rate stabilization and improved access to financing are anticipated to provide renewed momentum for transaction activity. As borrowing costs become more predictable, private equity sponsors and strategic acquirers alike will find it easier to structure and execute deals with greater confidence in their valuation models and return projections.
