Barry Shkolnik is a member of the firm’s M&A and Corporate Transactions group. Barry advises clients on a broad range of business issues including, strategy and planning, executive compensation, litigation management, strategic investments and acquisitions. Barry also represents non-U.S. based multi-national entities acquiring businesses in the United States. In addition, he counsels a great number of executives in the planning and negotiation of their exit from and engagement with C-suite and related positions.
I focus my practice in three main areas:
I have represented buyers and sellers in transactions ranging from $600 million + to start up matters. Most recently, our team represented the sellers in a $100mm sale to a public entity.
I represent a wide group of companies as their general counsel, ranging from companies in advertising, software development, printing and manufacturing.
I advise executives and other highly compensated individuals with issues related to disengagement from current employers as well as engagement with new employers.
I have been increasingly addressing issues related to data privacy and data security in traditionally non- tech businesses.
