Dr. Shayne Huff is a senior associate in the Patents group. She assists clients from academic and nonprofit medical institutions to startup companies and large corporations, in identifying intellectual property and securing patent rights.
My practice is devoted to biotechnology. I work with clients to identify their intellectual property and develop cost-effective strategies to protect their rights. I focus on IP portfolio development and management on a domestic and global scale. I draw from my broad base of scientific knowledge to successfully represent my clients in the legal arena of securing IP protection. I have extensive experience in foreign prosecution, especially in Europe, Japan and China, and have worked closely with clients to develop strong patent portfolios in these and other countries.
