Eric Tanck is a partner in Nixon Peabody’s M&A and Corporate Transactions group, focusing his practice on business and corporate law matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, commercial transactions, and the formation, financing, and growth of business enterprises.
Today I focus my practice on three main areas, assisting clients with a variety of complex transactions.
I work with public and private companies in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, health care, energy, and high-tech manufacturing, on various mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and divestitures. I was recently part of the M&A team that successfully represented Constellation Brands in its approximately one billion dollar acquisition of Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits.
Clients turn to me to assist with the negotiation and maintenance of various service and supply agreements and other commercial contracts. I previously worked on a secondment basis in the in-house legal department of a large public company, assisting with the drafting and negotiation of manufacturing, supply, and distribution agreements.
I provide startup companies with strategic advice on the business entity formation process and have represented established companies and startups in connection with public and private equity offerings.
