Eric Tanck is a partner in Nixon Peabody’s M&A and Corporate Transactions group, focusing his practice on business and corporate law matters, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions; commercial transactions; and the formation, financing and growth of business enterprises.
Today I focus my practice on three main areas, assisting clients with a variety of complex transactions.
I work with public and private companies in a variety of industries, including food and beverage, health care, energy and high-tech manufacturing, on various mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations and divestitures. I was recently part of the M&A team that successfully represented Constellation Brands in its approximately one billion dollar acquisition of Ballast Point Brewing & Spirits.
Clients turn to me to assist with the negotiation and maintenance of various service and supply agreements and other commercial contracts. I previously worked on a secondment basis in the in-house legal department of a large public company, assisting with the drafting and negotiation of manufacturing, supply and distribution agreements.
I provide startup companies with strategic advice on the business entity formation process and have represented established companies and startups in connection with public and private equity offerings.
