Boston, MA. Nixon Peabody is proud to announce that associates Jena Grady and Shaziah Singh have been named to the 2022 LCLD Pathfinder program.
LCLD is comprised of more than 400 corporate chief legal officers and law firm managing partners who have pledged to help create a truly diverse US legal profession. Nixon Peabody has been an LCLD member firm since 2016.
Pathfinders is a seven-month professional program designed to train high-performing, early career attorneys on foundational leadership and relationship building, providing participants with the opportunity to learn from top leaders in the legal profession along with experts in the fields of learning and development and executive coaching.
Jena is a member of Nixon Peabody’s Healthcare practice, where she helps clients navigate complex regulatory and legal issues that arise while delivering healthcare, and she also assists investors in identifying and creating solutions when investing in the healthcare space. An active member of Nixon Peabody’s Pro Bono Committee, Jena received the 2020 Lawyers Alliance for New York Cornerstone Award for her impactful pro bono work with the organization, advising clients on HIPAA compliance and other healthcare issues. She is also an advisory board member for the Integrated Physical & Behavioral Health Alliance, which is an organization that seeks to be a thought leader on integrated care from a systemic, payer, provider, patient, and healthcare perspective.
Shaziah is a member of Nixon Peabody’s Corporate practice focused on representing private equity firms and their portfolio companies, established public companies and other clients in US and cross-border transactions. As part of the firm’s “Let’s Talk” series, Shaziah interviewed Erin Zaikis, social entrepreneur and founder of Sundara, an international organization bringing sustainable hygiene to communities in need, on female leadership, the importance of community empowerment, and building a mission-driven brand. Shaziah was a member of Sundara’s board for five years. She serves as the chair of Nixon Peabody’s New York City Women’s Resource Group and is actively involved in mentoring junior colleagues in the firm’s Corporate practice.
