Based in the firm’s New York City office, Joe is a partner in the firm’s Affordable Housing & Real Estate practice. He represents for-profit and not-for-profit developers of multifamily housing and has a particular focus on new development and preservation transactions with complex public and private financing. Joe has extensive knowledge about the New York State Private Housing Finance Law. He advises clients on all areas of affordable housing and real estate including development, construction, financing, sales, regulatory matters, various tax structures, and joint ventures.
Joe was selected for inclusion in The Best Lawyers in America® 2026 in the field of Real Estate Law. Outside his practice, he serves on the executive committee of Citizens Housing Planning Council, as a board member of New York City Housing Partnership Development Corporation, and as a board member of Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration Corporation.
