Aaron Nadich is an associate in Nixon Peabody’s Labor & Employment practice group.
I represent employers in a variety of litigation matters including employment discrimination, harassment, retaliation and whistleblowers’ claims brought under various state and federal laws.
I also advise employers with respect to various state and federal laws and regulations, including affirmative action obligations under Executive Order 11246, Section 503 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 and the Vietnam Era Veterans’ Readjustment Assistance Act of 1974. In addition, I assist attorneys advising clients with respect to various labor issues and litigation when necessary and help to resolve issues such as employee discipline and termination.
We saw a noticeable increase in enforcement of systemic hiring and pay equity investigations by the Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) under the Obama administration. I am monitoring any changes to affirmative action regulations and to the OFCCP’s approach to compliance evaluations under the new administration to see how these will impact covered employers so we can best advise them.
